When to Change Filter
It is important to change the filter before it is exhausted. Each filter is certified for 40 gallons (150 liters) of use, which lasts approximately 2 months. Set the monthly calendar on the jug cover to remind you of next change.
 
Instruction for Use
1. Hand wash inner jug, outer jug and cover using mild soap and water. Rinse well.
2. Wash hands with soap and water, then remove the filter from the packaging.
3. Soak filter in cold water for 15 minutes. Make sure the water covers the filter completely. Do not wash filter with soap.
4. Hold filter under cold running water for a few seconds until the water runs clear through the filter.
5. Insert the filter into the inner jug reservoir and press firmly on filter to ensure a tight seal.
6. Fill jug with water. Discard the first and second batch of filtered water. Refill again and enjoy a fresh tasting cup of energy water.
Useful Tips & Precautions
1. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
2. Always filter cold water for drinking or use it to clean this filter. This unit is not dish washer sate!
3. After the jug has been drained, immediately add more water so that the filter stays wet. If the filter dries out too long, you may need to re-soak it before the next use, or purchase a new filter.
4. Water that is unused for more than a few days is best discarded – even filtered water that has been previously refrigerated.
5. Wash all the parts of your jug regularly except the filter. It is important to keep all food & beverage equipment clean and sanitized.
